Apple has just released macOS Tahoe 26 to all Mac users with compatible hardware. This latest version comes packed with fresh visual updates and new features to capture users’ attention.
This page provides download links for the macOS Tahoe full installer (InstallAssistant.pkg). This is the same installer you’d get from the App Store for Intel-based Macs as well as M1, M2, M3, and M4 Apple Silicon devices. The InstallAssistant.pkg, hosted on Apple’s servers, contains the complete “Install macOS.app.”
Note:
After downloading the file, simply run the .pkg, and the full macOS installer will appear in your Applications folder. This change follows Apple’s revision of the full installer, which started with macOS Big Sur.
The InstallAssistant.pkg is unavailable for older versions like Catalina or Mojave.
